Snowmaking will add to Coronet Peak’s unprecedented 60cm snow base – the best early season snow cover the mountain resort has had in years.

One hundred and forty one new TechnoAlpin Italian snow guns bring Coronet Peak’s total to 203 fully automated snow guns.

As part of Coronet Peak’s $30 million plus redevelopment, the snow guns will deliver snow across all trails and help produce a system believed to be one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated.

With one week till opening day, we went up to check the goods. I wrapped up the broken wrist and got hiking. We came back satisfied after making a few turns and decided that this season is offically going to go off!!!.
