TRICK TIP -Frontside Noseslide

9:45 am Trick Tips

Heath Patterson and Nick Hyne get together at the CORONET PEAK to show us how THEY do it…

1/ Firstly, get your frontside noseslides on lock, and start to think about the pretzel as you’re coming off.

2/ As you approach the rail as you would for your frontside noseslide, think about pointing your chest to the end of the rail.

3/ Remember, you want to land under your front foot. As you get on start to load up the counter rotation in your back leg and upperbody and try and stand a little taller than you might on a frontside nose.

4/ As you’re about to come off the end of the rail get ready to rotate your legs away from the rail while your upper body is going to twist in the opposite direction.

5/ You’re about to land, so think about landing straight and spot where you’re going to touch down.

6/ Ride away like it was nothing, while trying not to think that your friend Nick Hyne just taught you a new trick and explained everything so well that you got it in two tries.

7/ Thanks from Alta team riders Nick Hyne and Heath Patterson.
